Third Annual Big City Classic

The Lacrosse world is amped and ready to cheer on their favorite team at the third annual Big City Classic!

College fans from across the nation will converge on the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday, April 3, 2011. This exciting tripleheader begins with Rutgers Scarlet Knights‘ strong attack and solid defense back going head-to-head with the experienced defense of St. John’s Red Storm.

Game 2 offers fans the opportunity to witness the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays senior attackmen Kyle Wharton and Chris Boland as they take on the North Carolina. The Tar Heels are eager to showcase their attackman and midfielder, two shutdown defenders and tons of talented freshmen as they reach for their first Final Four title since 1993.

Game 3 rounds out the day with as much action-packed excitement as the stadium can handle! A senior Syracuse Orange class that already has two national championships in their arsenal and features six returning All-Americans are ready to show the Duke Blue Devils how it’s done! But the excitement doesn’t stop there because Duke coach, John Danowski, looks to returnees like Zach Howell, C.J. Constabile and Justin Turri to help him pull off his first title win.

Don’t miss out on your chance to enjoy this incredible game day experience! Be part of the energy and passion of college lacrosse played at the fabulous New Meadowlands Stadium.
